The only changes here are to the bundle layout, and basically random flailing around to try and fix a notarization problem Dick Koch was having when trying to package things for MacTeX. Apple's Gatekeeper is a shockingly fragile house of cards.

Please give this a try and let me know if anything doesn't work as expected. I was able to launch and run an update on Mojave, but that's the extent of my testing.
