[tldoc] ru.po duplicate "A4" showing up belatedly

Last night's tl-update-messages reported (for the first time):

    ru.po:2073: duplicate message definition...
    ru.po:675: ...this is the location of the first definition

Well, it's true there are duplicate msgs at the stated lines (the string
"A4"), but neither ru.po nor xgettext nor anything else has changed in a
long time. So why is the message only showing up now? I'm baffled.  Any
ideas? Nor am I sure of the right thing to do with the .po
