For OpenIndiana the command is:

        # pkg install -v tk-perl

Would it please be possible to add this info to 
https://tug.org/texlive/distro.html ?

The cross platform installer (install-tl) works fine on OpenIndiana (also the GUI mode when installing tk-perl first).
