Attached is a t2a.dvi file (from John Hawkinson, https://tug.org/pipermail/tex-live/2022-January/047679.html ). If you have xdvi on your system, can you try running "xdvi t2a.dvi" and then press "R" (that is, capital R) to reload it? It crashes on varieties of Macs per John and Dick, and did not crash for me on CentOS. So, wondering ... -k
