This is just for your information. I've been recently facing some
problems when compiling TeX Live on Solaris with gcc 5.2.
I submitted a bug report to libpng:
https://sourceforge.net/p/libpng/bugs/245/
and hope that this will be solved by the time of builds for TL 2016.
