I 100% agree with that.  I posted a bug report to xetex.sf ages ago on
exactly that point, after plenty of user reports.  I actually thought
Khaled had already fixed it.

I guess not, so ok, I retract my idea that unsorted is better.  Sorted
is better in that regard.  How exactly the sort is done is not important
(to me); xetex and x*x doing it the same is the crucial thing.  -k
