Hi Hin-Tak,

the appearence of #00 subfonts is due to changed SFD files, the TeX Live SVN
log says:

   r3283 | wl | 2007-01-10 07:24:55 +0100 (Wed, 10 Jan 2007) | 3 lines
   Update SFD files (from ttf2pk CVS 2007-Jan-10).

There are also two earlier CVS log entries

   Change 7757 by sx0005 at orion on 2005/08/19 00:37:41
   Update bin-cjkutils to CJK 4.6.0.

   Change 7416 by karl at karltug on 2005/07/06 00:15:37
   include texmf/fonts/sfd/* in ttfutils.

but I don't know if the SFD files from 10 years ago did or did not have #56
and #57.

Something analogous has been applied to (x)dvipdfmx, ttf2afm, pdftex, and luatex
in the current TeX Live SVN.
