[tlbuild] Problem compiling texlive on RHEL6

2007??? Please direct these questions to the RH people, we don't 
know anything about the packaging of TeX Live in distros.

You can try the tldistro mailing list where some distro packagers
are available. This list is for the communication with the people
building the binaries for TeX Live proper.

Well, no need to be a genius here, what about that *YOU* read the
error messages?

SO I guess you have to find where poppler-devel 0.12... install the
files, esp poppler/cpp/poppler-version.h, and then adjust the
paths.

This is actually fairly normal build process fixing, nothing specific
to TeX Live. If you transplant the build environment from one
system to a completely other it might not work out of the box.

Last but not least ... TL2007 is 3 years old and we have release
already TL2010.
