(Peter has already done a similar thing -- i.e. included generated
files into the trunk -- to avoid problems with less powerful iconv and
buggy recode behaviour on FreeBSD...)

Excellent. While we are here, on FreeBSD/amd64 clisp must be compiled
with --disable-mmap. Is this ok?
