Hmm... Strange things happen!

If I build current TL trunk on systems which have already TL installed 
(in /usr/local/texlive from previous build, for example), NOW, I do not 
have any 'fail' in the build log. BUT if short circuit the TL 
installation (mv /usr/local/texlive /usr/local/texlive.orig), so that 
the system is 'whitout' TL, and than I build the current trunk, I find 
(not fatal) 'fail' in the log:

and 'make world' (from Build script) is completed successfully.

It looks that in some place the build uses already installed executables 
and not its own.

I have verified this both on GNU/Linux Kubuntu 9.10 and Cygwin.
