I notice you're running configure --without-xdvipdfmx .... any chance
of getting that to build? (There's no point in building xetex
otherwise, as that's the driver it needs.)
I'm also wondering about the implications of --with-fontconfig=/u/
tiarno/fc for linking on other machines; that looks like a personal
path, not a standard location. Does that mean the xetex binary would
require a fontconfig lib in that particular location?
