    I was test building on Freebsd7.0 amd64, using
    --with-fontconfig=usr/local and it works fine as well.

If you want to pursue this, I think the thing to do is report it to the
libsigsegv maintainers (bruno at clisp.org, bonzini at gnu.org).  At least I
have no clue where else to go with it.
