No, not really. For the insert citations stuff, it's mostly about config 
file entries that can be added manually - these are described in the 
respective commit messages linked to above.

Regarding the command line options, there is a little help if you run 
`texworks --help`. But it's really pretty self-explanatory, if you run 
`texworks --insert-text="Hello world"`, it should insert "Hello World" 
into the top-most window. The --insert-cite command is mainly an alias, 
implemented for compatibility/interchangeability with  TeXstudio (which 
is supported out of the box by JabRef - so testing with JabRef is 
straight-forward by configuring it to use TeXstudio for pushing 
references but providing the path to texworks instead).
