Short answer: If you want to change the output font load a package that selects the font you want.   Much info available on that on ctan.org or tex.stackexchange.com or other search.

If you want to change screen font inside texworks, edit > preferences.

Note that "gothic" means many different things. If you want the look of lettering from 14th cent Germany, look for blackletter.
