Integration with git would be good to have and probably not too 
hard to implement.

Disclaimer: I mostly use Vim, on Linux, sometimes on Windows out 
of sheer necessity, and TeXworks mostly when Vim can't display the 
characters I use reasonably. And I'm not a real programmer.
