First, try to repeate what you do in directory without spaces (see the
message), like here:
1) create directory C:\temp
2) put tthe file jint-TCMT.tex there
3) run texworks and open that file in C:\temp
If now it will work then next time avoid use of directory with spaces.
In many cases they cause errors.
Moreover, I recommend to use for documents another disk drive (D:, for
example). Create directory D:\documents and put your documents there.
