While we're at it, another suggestion: it would be really really great if TeXworks handled transparently Mac-style EOLs (CR) in the same way as it presently does for Unix-style (LF) and Windows-style (CR+LF) EOLs.
For the moment TeXworks doesn't understand Mac-style EOLs and displays files using them as a single enormously long line. While Mac-style EOLs are deprecated now even on Mac OS X, with Unix-style the default, there are still a number of legacy apps which use Mac-style EOLs exclusively. Most Mac text editors handle all styles of EOLs transparently (including TeXShop), but TeXworks is an exception.
I think I reported this already and was told it cannot currently be solved (maybe a limitation of Qt?), but I'm not sure.
