This is probably similar to the known issues 110
(http://code.google.com/p/texworks/issues/detail?id=110), 177
(http://code.google.com/p/texworks/issues/detail?id=177) and 192
(http://code.google.com/p/texworks/issues/detail?id=192).
I take it you use MS Windows? If so, which version (Russian, English,
some other)?
I for one couldn't exactly reproduce this problem as I wasn't even able
to load the pdf file. Could someone who's not using a Russian Windows
version confirm this? (I put a file test.tex into a folder named Б; it
compiled alright, but the previewer complained about the pdf being not
available or corrupted; if moved to another folder without special
characters, the pdf was displayed correctly)
BTW: It works fine under Linux.
