[texworks] Artifacts in scroll-down menus on Mac OS X 10.6

Artifacts are visible near the top and bottom of scroll-down menus
with v404 on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). They may have been there
before, I don't remember.
Examples with the "binary" menu in the toolbar:

The exact form of the artifact varies each time the menu is shown,
even within a single TeXworks session.
