Succesfully I changed simpdftex for tonight's build. Corrected a few other typos in comments while I was there. Hopefully successfully :). BTW, in TL, simpdftex is in the "pdftex" package, which does not seem exactly right, but I didn't bother changing it now. --thanks, karl.
