I ran into this,

thinking it would be easy but it even failed on the
Zotero webform. Toobib handled it but I had
to open chrome in "head" mode suggsting Zotero
failed for a similar reason. This was supposed to
just be for debugging but the icon size chrome is
cool so its ok for now and I have other things
to do than emulating head mode lol. Generally I continue
to default to headless mode since I'd like to 
make everything work without a need for graphics
support. It would seem unlikely they want to 
prevent people from citing their work but probably
have a problem with mass downloads. I wold imagine
a browser plugin does not encounter this problem
but for automated work like checking retractions
that could be cumbersome.  fwiw.  


"toobib" is a bash script that invokes the TooBib executable
with some default settings,
