Unfortunately after I left the University and stopped using my own home program and as it was being overtaken by LaTeX, plus moving to Australia I threw all my original discs out!! The worst thing I could have done as I sorely miss it. I am desperate to obtain a copy again and as I am conversant with this application it would be easy for me to start typesetting my own work for printing etc.

TeX itself and most macro packages are free. Editors vary, though a
large number of TeX-focussed editors are available under open licenses.
I'd recommend downloading TeX Live (http://tug.org/texlive) as a
starting point: this will supply the TeX command line tools and leave
you free to pick an editor (or use a more general one).
