[texhax] reading latex version number at compile time

\fmtversion will have the latex version which you can add via \hypersetup.

xdvipdfmx will add its version to the pdf automatically, if I run
xelatex on anything
pdffinfo reports

Creator:         XeTeX output 2015.11.14:0006
Producer:       xdvipdfmx (20150315)
