I will add it to hologo.

lists a source:

  \starttext
  \ConTeXt
  \stoptext

\tracingmacros=1 shows that
"\ConTeXt" expands to "Con\TeX t".

Or is there something more special about the logo?

Also I found \ConTeXt in the LaTeX package `dtklogos':

  \providecommand*\ConTeXt{Con\TeX t}
  \providecommand*\conTeXt{con\TeX t}

Why the lowercase variant?
