[texhax] question about support

Hello,
I have used Latex some and I like it very much for math and text.  I 
have tried to use it for circuit diagrams  and had trouble with that 
package.  I have no problem with joining TUG but my question is whether 
I can get support and how good that support will be when I run into 
problems with packages?  Is there a members' forum?  It looks like there 
is one maybe if I join.  Sorry if this question seems silly.  I just 
don't want to spend the money only to be disappointed.
