erh..., exactly what have you downloaded and what have you installed?

Where did you get texniccenter from? (url)

Do you have LaTeX installed (otherwise you cannot compile anything)?

Does TC know where LaTeX is? (for some reason it cannot figure this out 
by it self)

Do you get any error messages?
