[texhax] description of text in {\tt }

Indeed I am playing with this for some applications, in the "job" sense. 
\tt may be too painful to read, perhaps some earlier letters of mine using 
\tt were not understood. cmvtt may look likewise "humble" while more 
convienently to read. \tt may be somewhat contradictory in an application 
where I call myself an expert for typography.

Reinhard's suggestion has also encouraged me to use the primitive font 
switch in place of \DeclareBlahBlah ...

I need to know, however, whether cmvtt looks sufficiently serious, not 
funny, not like an invitation to a party or to a funeral.
