[texhax] fontsize isn't affecting leading

Hi,

I'm trying to get a large font using:

\newcommand\largetitleline[1]{%
\textsf{\textsl{\fontsize{36}{42}\selectfont}}
#1}}

It doesn't seem to affect the leading (\baselineskip), so if there's a
line break, the lines touch each other.

I even tried to change \baselineskip and \baselinestretch directly,
with no results.
