[texhax] Downloding and Instaling MikTex

Hi,

I had trouble with my computer and had to re-install Window; consequently, I now have to re-install all my programs, including MikTeX.

So, I went to the MiKTeX download page and selected the
MikTeX 2.7 Net Installer. I was successfull in downloading the program. I then proceeded to install the program, however, this did not work.

I have all the various packages of The MiKTeX program in my Program Files under MikTeX 2.7 but when I select Star, All Programs, I do  not find Teknic Center among my programs. However, I have MiKTeX 2.7 with the following menu: Help, MiKTeX on the Web, Browse packages and Setting & Update.

I am at a lost as to what to do next. Can anyone help with this problem.
