[texhax] xdvi won't obey options any more

Sorry if this is off topic: could you then suggest a proper place where to
address the present message?

It seems that suddenly my xdvi (xdvik version 22.84.1) won't obey options like
-sidemargin, -topmargin, -hl, whereas the -gamma option seems to work.

Can anyone please suggest why this happens and to work it out?
