There's a macro for Excel which will export to a LaTeX table. xl2ltx or 
some such.

Failing that, use Gnumeric which has an Excel export feature, or 
generate a .eps print job from Excel and use dvips to convert the .dvi 
to PostScript, or distill it to a .pdf and then place it in pdftex.
