[texhax] can't run tex after aix upgrade

if this had been a question about ams-tex, we could
answer it, but it's a system question where we're
just out of our depth.  can someone here help, please?

I installed Aix 5.2 O.S. on to my IBM F80 -7025 server but the above latex
application
does not work giving me an error when I run tex or latex command:
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program tex because of the following errors:
         0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for tex because:
         0509-136   Symbol _locp (number 36) is not exported from
                    dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a(shr.o).
         0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
                  'dump -Tv' command.
It looks that the system libraries version changed when I installed Aix o.s.
Before upgrading o.s. form Aix 5.1 to Aix 5.2 everything works perfect.
