i don't think don actually mentions the word.  i only _heard_ it
yesterday, and modern greek (as you probably know) makes no
distinction between iota, eta, upsilon, and the epsilon-iota and
omicron-iota digraphs.

so that's my excuse.  you are of course right ;-)
