Which installation are you using? If you're using Gerben's have you 
tried i-Installer's reconfigure button? Perhaps you should try the Mac 
OS X TeX list if you're using GW's TeX?

Uh, you're missing the traditional sigdash ``-- '' separator here so 
that list software can automagically split off your signature so it's 
not multiply included for people who receive digest versions.

At a minimum, couldn't you configure your mail software to have 
multiple signatures and use a smaller, less ostentatious one when 
posting to a mailing list?

and you seem to've discounted the traditional four line limit.

I know bandwidth & storage are cheap and all, but must we be so 
profligate?
