Hi TeXperts,

We have a customer who wants to use "TeX pass-through" in
our product to get the equivalent of \d but in math mode.
I don't see (in the TeXbook) any below-style math accents,
or really any constructs which place something "phantomly"
below a glyph in math mode. I can't spin off time to
attack this full force, and am not asking anyone else to
either, but thought maybe someone already has done or
seen something of this ilk which might serve as a starting

Best regards,
