[texhax] download LaTeX

Dear sir, madam,

I'm a physics student on the University of Amsterdam, and I got an
assignment, which had to be written in LaTeX. I didn't get any
information on how to acquire and install this program, so maybe you can
help me out.
I would like to install LaTeX on a pc, but I also don't know where I can
download the program.
