Disable --output-directory option in METAFONT

Hi all,

Please keep me in Cc, I'm not subscribed to this list.

We experienced issues in Debian package building using TL 2024, b/c in
mktexpk was something changed regarding --output-directory [1] . Adrien
Nader noticed this commit [2] in the C version of mktexpk, which could
be related to the issue.

Will this fix mktexpk on UNIX too? If not, are there plans to fix the
shell version of mktexpk? Thanks!
