Update of siunitx went wrong (probably)

Yes that is what seem to have happened. But it means that 

   tlmgr info siunitx 

now reports cat-version: 3.3.8, while the real version on my system
is 3.3.7.

It is imho not so good if one part is automatic and the other not.
People only see the update and expect that it contains the fix they
are waiting for.
