Looks good, just nit-picking:

> \item Copy the \filename{texlive-fontconfig.conf} file to

That could overwrite an already present file.
Either put it into 
	~/.fonts.conf.d/
or merge it into
	~/.fonts.conf
I think .fonts.conf.d is now generally accepted.
