Warning messages produced by pslatex.sty

Hi all,

The following latex file

	\documentclass{minimal}
	\usepackage{pslatex}
	\begin{document}
	\end{document}

gives eight warning messages of the form

LaTeX Warning: Font shape declaration has incorrect series value `mc'.
               It should not contain an `m'! Please correct it.
               Found on input line 226.

This is from tex live pulled from the main repository less than 24 hours ago.
