xetex test creation for reading pdf images?

    Here's a (very quickly) hacked adaptation of luaimage.tex to xetex.

Thanks for your efforts, Bruno. If someone else wants to run with it,
that would be great.

I suspect it would be best to make it run under -ini, that is, define
catcodes of { and } and basic page parameters; not sure if anything else
is needed here. That usually eliminates one significant source of
(unrelated) error. I don't know why Peter chose to read in
plain aka "basic". --best, karl.
