Typeset BibTeX does not find executable - Mac OS X 10.14.5

Hello:

When I try to Typeset BibTeX I get the error: “The program /usr/local/texlive/2018/bin/x86_64-darwin/bibtex does not exist”.

However, if I type 

which bibtex

I get 

/usr/local/texlive/2018/bin/x86_64-darwin/bibtex

The same location is specified in TeXShop Preferences.

If I use line command “bibtex whateverfile” the bibtex works correctly.

Am I doing something wrong in TeXShop or this might be a bug?
