[tex-live] General test suite for TeX-Live

Hi everyone,

I think it might be a good idea to create a general test suite for TeX Live
that we could use during the preparations of each release. Interactions
between different components are likely to grow so a set of tests could
help us determine if the release is fine or not.

What do you think?

PS: If you agree that it would be a good thing I suggest to create a
Subversion repository which we could fill either on per-tester but maybe
better on per-topic basis.
