Hi,

the explanations in 3.4.4 System font configuration for XeTEX and LuaTEX for  ``Unix-compatible system'' do not apply to Mac OS X (xetex does not use fontconfig there). This arguably should be clarified, because Mac OS X is a ``Unix-compatible system''.
