There are other members of this list who specialise in /ad hominem/
attacks and rudeness in preference to the civility that this list
(and indeed, all lists) deserves.  You are normally a model of
moderation, and the message cited above is completely out of
character.  I imagine that you were having a very bad day, and
responded before you had time to self-moderate; it would be helpful if,
in the cool light of day, you could re-cast your reply to Moonkid in
a more moderate and less abrasive manner.
