whatever ...
i've made copies of my snapshots of the libertine-legacy tl packages and
the miktex package.
so if anyone wants to do something or other with them (such as put 'em
on the non-standard tl repo) they can just ask me.
they are, of course, rather bulky. copying them disc-disc took rather a
while.
