[tex-live] tlmgr update problem

I'm quite sure that's what it did :).  The VPN allows http traffic, but it probably started hitting a network authentication page.

Yeah, I know that now…but it would be nice if tlmgr marked the failed updates as such and allowed me to rerun the update command.
