I forgot -x isn't the right option for rsync.  Fixed.

I forgot that -location has to be specified for the net-install case.
Fixed.

    -- Within the options (O), I wasn't able to include texworks to my
       installation.

Only Windows (and MacTeX) will ship TW binaries, unfortunately.  Shared
library problems make it impractical to ship anywhere else.  Hopefully
there will be a TW download page at some point.  It'll take time.

    -- When I first invoked the installation, I was asked whether I want to
       import my previous selection of collections from tl2008.  For some
       reason, I quit and was not asked again (I did a sudo the second time,
       that might be the reason).

If your PATH was different after sudo, I expect so.  That's how we
detect the previous installation (I think; Norbert will correct if I got
it wrong, as usual :).
