um ... \input might be a clue: you cause (la)tex to read the file...

the author apparently failed to upload it with her latest version of
floatrow; it's not on ctan ... and tex live takes its input from ctan.

afaik, this is the first complaint.  will contact her (phil: you and i
know her, since she was at tug2000, and i've met her on at least two
other occasions).
