on CTAN there is acrotex (in usual
macros/latex/contrib/acrotex ) and the directory contains acrotex_pack.zip
which is "trimmed" directory)

On his website

http://www.acrotex.net/aeb_index.php?lang=en

page
http://www.acrotex.net/aeb_index.php?page=aebpackages

describes some packages,

page

 http://www.acrotex.net/aeb_index.php?page=downloads

gives downloads but only AeB does not require (according to what is
written) Acrobat or Distiller
while other bundles do

Victor.
